Central Province…….Hindustan ka Dil Dekho

Central Province as it was known in the earlier days was ruled by the Maratha royals, Holkars and the Scindias and some parts by the Nawabs. The province which has the largest tribal population and is worst hit by the caste and the religion basd poltics is trying hard to cope up and match with the growth of INDIA Inc.

The present day MP is a result of bad governance both by its Aristocratic and democratic rulers. These rulers never concentrated on the basics of growth, education, support infrastructure, health…….Most of these rulers were happy filling their pockets and playing dirty politics of caste and religion. The geographical location of the region has done no good either, having no sea connectivity meant loosing out hugely on the industrial revolution, air connectivity is no better, 3 domestic and no international airport only makes this place look remote to investors. Despite of all these drawbacks the people of this unfortunate region are trying hard to break these barricades and run along the rest of country towards development. But development doesn’t mean that the people of this place are moving away from their values and culture.

Indore is the financial hub and the fastest growing city of central India, also termed as mini Bombay by the optimistic lot.Indore has been attracting lot of investment from past decade, the industrial belt of pithampur, approx 30km, is example of confidence industrialists have shown on the region. One of the biggest garment and textile trading hub it attracts business from all over the country.Lots of technology companies mainly IT/ITES are investing in this region to tap the good but unexplored human resource. Despite of all the groth abd interaction with Rest of India the people here are still the same, believing in ther set of values and culture and enjoy leading life keeping them as focal point. A person in Indore still gives preference to his family over his own interests and career, they are happy with clothes from the local textile mills and don’t need brands to show off as in other similar sized cities. With lot of branded stores closing down people may term as they have not grown and are still backward but my question to them would be, is brands and accessory that makes a person or the values and culture? People like spending time with family and relative on weekends then pub hopping or dancing in so called DISCS ( a small 20’X20” room with loud music and 100 people shaking there body mostly bcoz of the intoxication they have had)

Maybe that’s the reason you don’t find people from MP moving out in huge nos. to other metros like Mumbai….

All in all this place is truly “ HINDUSTAN ka DIL” reflecting the true India minus the hip hop show off.

By the way, it is a great tourist destination totally unexplored…………….for more details u can contact me………
